Just after midnight, the Leonia Police and Fire Departments and the Bergen County Sheriff were called to the scene of a car fire in Overpeck Park. The fire was extinguished by 12:30, preventing it from spreading through the brush and into the park.
Bergen County arson investigators were called to the scene and conducted an initial investigation before the car was hauled away at approximately 4 am.
