pOn December 27 2010 our Chief Troy Wright suffered a severe heart attack at the age of 47. Thanks to a quick response by emergency medical services he was revived and transported to the hospital where doctors placed him in a medically induced coma for several days. With months of rehabilitation ahead his road to recovery will be a long one. As a volunteer with 27 years of service to the town Chief Wright has demonstratedspan classtextexposedhide…spanspan classtextexposedshow that he truly is a fighter. We are optimistic about the prospect of a full recovery but at this time he needs our help as the burden of medical costs can be extreme. The Leonia Fire Company is reaching out to you to assist us in our efforts to help our Chief. br br The Leonia Volunteer Fire Company 1 has organized a benefit dinner in an attempt to raise funds to offset some of the medical costs connected to Chief Wrightrsquos continued care.
